Couples for Equality™ is a project created by visual artists. We use the medium of artistic expression, such as photographs, videography, and writings to open dialogues between people ‘around the water cooler’ and via ‘social media and outlets’, who might otherwise not engage in political discourse and/or with political organizations, about how all committed relationships should be treated with fairness and dignity throughout the world.

Our mission includes day-to-day education about wonderful relationships that exist around us every day hoping that this will empower people to support these relationships in the workplace, in their social and personal life, and wherever else they deem appropriate.

Couples are discriminated against on a daily basis because of their multicultural, multiethnic, same gender, interfaith, and /or interracial make up. It is time we all stand together in support of each other’s loving and committed relationships to overcome everyday biases and discrimination on so many levels, in so many societies.

Couples for Equality™ believes that hearts and minds are often changed for the better through positive visual experiences. By presenting and sharing the love and commitment of couples throughout the world who have come together to show their support for all committed and loving relationships, Couples for Equality™ endeavors to create an atmosphere of love, harmony, understanding, and acceptance of all people and their committed relationships in every town and city throughout the world.

Couples for Equality™ shares our materials with partners, global organizations, and not-for-profits, which advocate similar values to educate people on the importance of supporting relationships without judgment or legal obstacles. Our future goals include utilizing materials gathered from offline events and online submissions to create other forms of media, such as films, dvds, and books to educate people about the message of Love Above All™ and to ensure that all people and couples are treated with love, fairness, and dignity.

Someone once said a “…a picture is worth a 1,000 words…” and we believe that when we have 1,000,000 million images and stories to share with the world, C4E™ can affect the attitudes of 1 billion people in support of all committed couples living an open, honest, and loving life.
